Pessina House Museum in Ligornetto was donated by the family of the sculptor and painter, Apollonio Pessina (1879-1958) to house his works of art in order that they might be seen by a wider audience. Pessina studied in Grenoble and Milan. There are four rooms set aside on the first floor, where his most important works are displayed. Other rooms are used when temporary exhibitions of the region’s artists are organized. The house is also used for conferences, concerts, receptions and parties.
