Conveniently located on the River Aare and adjacent to the old town, the Schwimmbad Olten offers both river and open-air pool bathing under lifeguard supervision with a full range of facilities. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a 10-metre diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a number of waterslides, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant. Massage is available.
