The Musée de l’Étiquette is a wine label museum and is found opposite the castle gates of the Château d’Aigle. This museum gives a fascinating insight into the process involved in designing labels to suit each wine. By necessity, it is a rather sedate museum with little of today’s technology on show, but there are many interesting displays of some very ornate labels from bottles around the world. These are showcased on placards in a grand, wood-beamed attic.
