The Muggio Valley includes the villages of Bruzella, Cabbio, Caneggio, Casima, Castel San Pietro, Monte, Morbio Superiore, Muggio and Sagno. The valley is known for its peace, beautiful scenery and unspoilt surroundings. Most of the territory is made up of mountains and woods. The flora and fauna are of special interest. The Ethnographic Museum of the Muggio Valley has restructured various buildings of historical interest, which give added interest to excursions. Points of interest on the trail from Muggio to Bellavista are the Oratory of St. John of Tur, dating from the 17th Century, and the stone tower at Pianspessa.
