The Moulin Semblanet is a 19th Century building which is designated as a historic monument. This water mill is a rare relic of industrial technology, harnessing hydraulic power to a grindstone by a method dating back to at least the 14th Century. Since 1994 the mill has been part of the rich heritage of local industrial know-how and the miller today still uses this same technology to transform grain into flour. The flour is then shipped to the building next door where bread is baked on the premises in a wood-burning stove in the traditional way of artisanal bakers.
