Morges is a fascinating small town on Lake Geneva near Lausanne. It offers a variety of interesting museums and sights. The La Côte region, which extends from Morges to Nyon, is one of the biggest wine-growing areas in Switzerland. The Bière-Apples-Morges railway line offer trips to the countryside and there are many hiking trails through vineyards and forests. A leisure park is located on the Signal de Bougy hill above the vineyards of Mont-sur-Rolle and Féchy. In the old town Grand-Rue offers superb shopping. The lakeside promenade offers a fantastic view of the lake and Savoy Alps.
