Apart from the three lake bathing areas in the Meilen area (Feldmeilen, Dorfmeilen and Ländeli Obermeilen) (see separate entries), there is the Hallenbad Meilen indoor bathing complex. Part of a large sports complex, it has a 25-metre swimmers’ pool which is complemented by a non-swimmers pool and children’s paddling pool, all under lifeguard supervision. Features include sunbathing areas with shade, a sauna and a solarium. The facilities are limited to changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets; there are no food outlets. The complex is open throughout the year except for a maintenance period.
