In winter, or should bad weather spoil your summer lake bathing trip to Meggen, the refurbished indoor swimming pool in the town centre provides an alternative. Meggen is located some 7 km east of Lucerne and its Hallenbad Hofmatt has a 20-metre by 8-metre pool at 28°C which has adjustable depths and the swimming is under lifeguard supervision. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. The complex also has two modern solariums and offers a spacious Finnish sauna.
