The Mediathèque Valais is the conservation centre of the Valais audio-visual heritage, serving as the Valais film library, Valais picture library and the Valais sound library. As a conservatory of unique and fragile documents, the centre uses the most up-to-date technologies. The Mediathèque Valais holds temporary exhibitions and offers guided visits, as well as movie projections. Since it’s creation in 1985, it has organized more than 50 photographic and media exhibitions. It is also a public library for Martigny.
