Located on Lake Greifen at the end of Badanstaltstrasse and close to Maur, the Strandbad Greifensee bathing area offers a tiny sandy beach, lake swimming under lifeguard supervision and a small children’s paddling pool. Other features include a float, one-metre diving board, a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and parking; there is also a kiosk/restaurant.
