The Malcantone Museum was built in 1985 and is located in the old school of Curio, which was built in 1855 by the architect Luigi Fontana. The museum has collections concerning the history and culture of the region’s territory. The permanent collection occupies the entire ground floor. In a section dedicated to rural life, there are examples of hunting, fishing craftsmanship, sheep farming, wine-growing, different customs and traditions. Another section houses “The Tables of Time”, an original composition of pictures. Four smaller rooms are devoted to the home, religion and emigration.
