Located at Dietschiberg about 5 km northeast of Lucerne and at a height of 670 metres above sea level, the Lucerne Golf Course was established in 1903, the first in the region. Surrounded by mature forests and with splendid views over Lucerne, the lake and the mountains, this 18 hole course is regarded as a good sporting challenge and is 6,082 metres long with a par of 73. Facilities include a driving range, chipping and putting greens and there is a pro shop where lessons can be arranged. The impressive clubhouse has a restaurant.
