The Locarno Lido and communal swimming complex has several open air pools, as well as offering swimming in Lake Maggiore. There is a pool for swimming, a pool for non-swimmers and a diving pool with one-metre, three-metre, five-metre, seven-metre and ten-metre diving platforms. There is also a children’s paddling pool. There is a lifeguard on duty. In addition to sunbathing areas with shady sections, there are changing cubicles, lockers, toilets, showers, a water slide, a field for games and Frisbee, courts for badminton and beach volleyball, table tennis and a restaurant.
