Located approximately 9 km southeast of Küsnacht on the Seestrasse, the main coast road, the Strandbad Dorfmeilen is one of the larger lake bathing spots on the eastern shore of Zürichsee and has an on-shore children’s paddling pool. The large lawned area with shade is like a park and ideal for sunbathing and for picnics. Other features include a float, one-metre diving board, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, and a games area for Frisbee, badminton table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets and parking. There is also a restaurant with terrace.
