The Melide Lido has an open air non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool in addition to the designated swimming area on Lake Lugano. There is lovely sandy beach with a lifeguard on duty. In addition to sunbathing areas with shady sections, there are toilets, showers, a field for games and Frisbee, courts for badminton and beach volleyball and a restaurant. The float in the lake is used for diving and for water-based games. There is plentiful parking nearby.
