Leysin is found at the summit of the Berneuse. This is a thriving modern town where everything is made pleasant for tourists. From the moment of arrival at the cable car station the place is a delight. There is a turning panoramic restaurant, which has a modern design, access to the higher resort via chair lifts, snow canons and, without doubt, one of the most beautiful panoramas in Europe. If the town planners made a concerted effort to find harmony between construction and nature then they have succeeded in their aim.
