The town of Langenthal is located about 20 km southwest of Olten and the Schwimmbad Langenthal is a large open-air bathing complex on the outskirts of the town, with a full range of pools under lifeguard supervision. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool, is complemented by two non-swimmers’ pools, a diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk and a restaurant.
