The eastern shore of Lake Zürich, along the Seestrasse main coastal road, is dotted with lake bathing areas with varying facilities. The Kusenbad is the more northerly of two such swimming locales in the town of Küsnacht (the other is further south and known as Strandbad Küsnacht). Features of this facility, which is under lifeguard supervision, are a float, playground, table tennis and grassed areas with shade which are suitable for sunbathing and for picnics. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk/restaurant and umbrellas and loungers can be hired.
