Located on the outskirts of Kriens and about 2.5 km southwest of Lucerne, the Krienzer Lido provides open-air bathing with very good facilities and lifeguard supervision. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool, with 1-metre, 2-metre and 3-metre diving boards/platforms, is supplemented by a 30-metre non-swimmers’ pool with chute and a children’s paddling pool. Features include water accessories, ample grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a kiosk, a restaurant and barbeque area.
