The charming village and winter sports resort of Klosters is located about 12 km northeast of Davos and has become famous as a result of the annual visits made by Prince Charles and other members of the British royal family. Madrisa is Klosters’ own ski area and is perfect for beginners and children, whilst the Gotschna cable-car takes skiers up to Gotschnagrat and Parsenn. There are excellent ski-trails in the Parsenn and Madrisa areas and on the Saaseralp. The longest descent in the area is Weissfluhgipfel-Küblis covering about 14 km and with a height difference of about 2,030 metres.
