The lovely mountain resort of Kandersteg lies east of Adelboden and the Schwimm und Spielbad Kandersteg is an open-air bathing complex with great mountain views, located behind the local school. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool, all at 26°C. Features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a chute, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a table tennis area. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is also a kiosk serving light hot and cold meals.
