The Musée du Cheval is located in the beautiful Château de La Sarraz. Created in 1982, to preserve the memory of this wonderful animal, which was conquered and put to use by man, the Museum of the Horse supplements its collections each year. You will be able to discover here saddles having belonged to Napoleon, documented use of horses in war situations, horse-drawn vehicles, the history of these noble animals and their evolution over the last 70 million years. The museum is accessible to the people with reduced mobility.
