Located at Matterboden, Hergiswil, approximately 7 km south of Lucerne, the Strandbad Hergiswil offers bathing in Lake Lucerne and open-air pool bathing under lifeguard supervision, in an attractive and convenient location. The onshore swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include two-metre and five-metre diving platforms, a float, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and a restaurant.
