The Grange de Dorigny, located near the university, is a restored barn. It was given new life more than 15 years ago when it was converted into a theatre. Each season, the theatre produces, or hosts, around a dozen performances. Its line up also includes several concerts (classical or modern music) and exhibitions at the UAC, the nearby university’s contemporary art department. Dance is also included in the venue’s repertoire, with the Cie Buissonnière often in residence. A visit to Lausanne would not be complete without a visit to this charming theatre.
