Located approximately 12 km southeast of Küssnacht, the Tierpark Goldau is a 17 hectare (42 acre) boulder strewn wilderness which is home to deer, goats, chamois and in large enclosures, bears, wolves, lynx, marmots, wild pigs, foxes, wild cats, owls and raccoon. There are more than 90 species to be seen and there are also two lakes with swans, ducks and geese. Amongst the other facilities are picnic areas, barbeque places, a restaurant, guided tours, exhibitions and zoo information stands. For children, there are other attractions including a 20-metre slide, watch towers, merry-go-rounds and much more.
