Gland, situated on the edge of beautiful Lac Leman, has a wonderful designated swimming area. There are steps leading down to the lake from a beautifully landscaped grass area. While sunbathing you can gaze across the lake to France. There is a lifeguard on duty. In addition to sunbathing areas with shady sections, there are changing cubicles, toilets, showers, a playground for children, a field for games and Frisbee, courts for badminton and beach volleyball, a float in the lake for diving, a restaurant, picnic tables and ample parking nearby.
