The Garden of Scents in Neuchâtel truly lives up to its name. With over 2,000 different aromatic (and useful) cultivated plants covering more than 3,000m2 of exhibition space and land, this is a place to delight both sight and smell. There are at least 350 varieties of salvia, over 100 fragrant geraniums, 70 different species of mint, as well as varieties of rosemary and thyme. To add to the fragrance there are entire sections devoted to sweet-smelling flowers. There is a games garden to keep children occupied. Plants are available to buy, but entrance is free and no purchase is necessary.
