Located on the Löwenstrasse, the Fire Brigade Museum (Feuerwehrmuseum) gives a curious insight into the history of fire-fighting in and around Kreuzlingen. You need to make an appointment to visit and guided tours are available. The museum displays a wide range of 19th and 20th century equipment and related items, including helmets from various places in the world, hand and motor nozzles, ladders, fire extinguishing equipment, hatchets, steel pipes, lamps and ladders. There is also a collection of pictures, documents, Swiss Fire Brigade Association newspapers and more.
