One of the three lake bathing spots in and around Meilen, the Feldmeilen Lido is located approximately 8 km southeast of Küsnacht on the Seestrasse, the main coast road. In addition to normal Zürichsee swimming, there is a defined non-swimmers’ pool in the lake and also an on-shore children’s paddling pool. Other features include a diving tower with one-metre and three-metre platforms, a float, children’s playground with a sand pit, grassed areas with shade for sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee badminton and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers, lockers and a kiosk for refreshments.
