The magnificent Erlengut Estate, with its beautiful gardens, is located approximately 2 km southeast of Küsnacht and has great views over Lake Zürich and the mountains. The main building on the estate dates back to 1770 and was, through the ages, home to many wealthy and influential families until 1972, when, as a result of changed living styles, it was sold to the municipality. A complete restoration was completed in 1994 and today it is used for exhibitions, hired to private companies and individuals for special events and conferences and is also used as a concert venue.
