The church of Montet was built during the reign of Count Humbert of Savoy. The Trinity Chapel dates back to 1342. Legend says that Count Humbert of Savoy, captive in Bulgaria during the Crusades, was released thanks to a ransom paid partly by the citizens of Cudrefin. In recognition, the count ordered the church to be built. Gothic in style, the church contains frescos representing the four evangelists. Important restorations were carried out between 1897 and 1914, then again between 1984 and 1991. Today this charming church with its beautiful architecture and superb panorama is very popular for weddings.
