The Dürrenmatt Centre is dedicated to the life and work of Friedrich Dürrenmatt and aims to please lovers of his genius by displaying his pictorial and literary work. The centre organises exhibitions, seminars, contemporary music concerts and debates to bring to life the spirit of the author. There is a programme available on the showing future events. The centre was built by Mario Botta, who integrated Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s former villa into its architectural concept. Guided visit are available on request and there is a cafeteria for refreshments which offers views from its panoramic terrrace.
