Colline de Montriond is a man-made ‘mountain’ forming part of the charming Place de Milan children’s playground. Located not far from the Botanical Gardens, this complex is a wonderful mix of the landscaper’s art and an educator’s delight. At the foot of a ‘mountain’, which stands above the park, is an enormous sandpit with an array of novel and instructive toys. Old stone paths lead to hidden treasures in the beautiful gardens. Ponds with spectacular fountains are bordered by walkways, all of which make this green lung in heart of a built up region popular with locals and visitors alike.
