The Collegiate Church, consecrated in 1276, is an impressive construction showing the move from Romanesque to Gothic style. Of particular merit are the column capitals. It is believed that building began at the end of the 12th Century with the three Romanesque apses dated around 1185. In the middle of the 13th Century the transept and ribbed vault were added. Another notable feature is the South gate, guarded by St. Peter and St. Paul. The Cenotaph of the Collegiate Church is a memorial depicting a group of people, including Count Roland of Neuchâtel and Eleanor of Savoy.
