The climbing wall at la Bâtiaz is nine metres high and has 14 anchor points equipped with ropes. In 1998, following a contest of ideas organized by the Lions Club for its centenary, the project to build a climbing wall was adopted. Inaugurated in 1999 and given to the Alpine Club of Martigny, in 2002 it was supplemented by a section across the ceiling. The level of difficulty ranges from 4 to 7 and the routes are regularly modified. The building is located at the foot of the cour Jean de Châtillon.
