The Church of St Carpoforo was originally built at the end of the Middle Ages, although the first mention of the saint appears in 1148. The church was renovated during the last quarter of the17th Century, giving us the building as it is seen today with the exception of the façade, which was finished after 1730. The interior of the church, in particular the vaults and naves which are beautifully decorated with religious subjects, many of which date back to the Middle Ages, are especially interesting.
