The Seebad Buonas, situated about 8 km north of Küssnacht, is an attractive location offering lake swimming in the delightful Zugersee (Lake Zug). Located on the western shore of the lake, there are grassed areas suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities are limited to a kiosk, changing cubicles and toilets. Nearby, on a wooded promontory, Buonas castle is set in a magnificent park and gardens (Schlosspark) which sometimes has open days.
