Morges is surrounded by small towns and villages with stunning Romanesque churches, all of which are worth visiting. Many of these quaint locations have museums or other tourist attractions. There are regular ship services, including paddle steamers, which have embarkation points along the Swiss and French shores of Lake Geneva and stop at many of the villages. Or visitors can explore the Lake Geneva landscape on special trips on a new galley, which is a copy of a 17th-century original. Information is available from the Morges tourist office.
