If you fancy a relaxing day in the country, the Schwimmbad Bergboden, located about 21 km west of Lucerne on the outskirts of Wolhusen, is an open-air bathing complex with good facilities and lifeguard supervision. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 20-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms, a splash pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant.
