The Strandbad Benzeholz is located at Meggen some 7 km east of Lucerne and offers a sandy beach and lake swimming under lifeguard supervision. The flat nature of the shore makes it safe for children’s bathing. Features include a float, one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and table tennis. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, a kiosk and snack bar. The amenity is open from mid-May until mid-September.
