The Baumgartner Gallery is home to private collections of model railroads and other types of models. It also serves to promote the hobby of model railroads and exhibits approximately 8,000 railway models, dioramas and layouts. Model railway manufacturers such as Märklin, Hag, LGB and Lemaco are represented. Some of the train layouts run under solar power. There are also sections devoted to ship and motor car models with a large selection of tin plate model railways. Even postal stamps and historical titles have their place in this eclectic gallery.
