Located some 19 km north of Lucerne, the Seebad Baldegg on the eastern shore of the Baldeggersee offers lake swimming, on-shore open-air pools and has good facilities for a family outing. The 25-metre open-air swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 20-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include floats, one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing area with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include a kiosk, restaurant, barbeque area, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Pedalos can be hired and fishing is permitted.
