The Swiss Museum of Sound and Image, situated between Montreux and Chillon Castle, is the conservation place of phonograph, radio, television, multimedia and their technologies as well as their contents and creations from the past to the present day. Its unique collections comprise objects dating from the first recording mechanisms to digital television, and studio and production equipment. Older visitors will remember their past and the younger generation enjoy the incredible foundations of audiovisual. A glance into the future sets the scene for the discovery of possible changes to multimedia.
