Adolf Dietrich House is located at Berlingen, approximately 13 km northwest of Kreuzlingen. Adolf Dietrich (1877-1957), a famous Swiss naïve artist, was born in this house and lived here all his life; he never married and the painter bequeathed the house and his works to Thurgau Art Society. His studio on the first floor has been left untouched since his death, even to the unfinished picture, palette and brush. The ground floor is devoted to documentation of Dietrich’s life and works. Original works by the painter are on display in the Thurgau canton’s art museum housed in the Charterhouse Ittingen
