Located at Aathal-Seegräben, near Lake Pfäffikon, in part of an historic former textile factory, the Aathal Dinosaur Museum has seven original skeletons of known dinosaurs dating back to the Jurassic time. The 2,000 square metres of exhibition space was acquired in 1992 by the fossil company Siber and Siber AG, who at the same time gained the excavation rights for the legendary Howe Dinosaur Quarry in Wyoming in the United States. The latest dinosaur films, other primeval species, a fossil whale, a marine crocodile, the world’s largest turtle and a restaurant are other features of this unique museum.
