The small town of Worben is located about 8 km southeast of Biel and its attractive indoor bathing and spa complex, located at the Worbenbad Spa Hotel, is under lifeguard supervision. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is heated to between 33 and 35 °C and there are various pool accessories, a sunbathing area and deck chairs. The fitness centre has a sauna and a solarium and fitness classes are available if required. Massage is also obtainable. The town has a local history museum in the school building at 4 Upper Zelgweg.
