Worb lies approximately 10.5 km east of Berne and the Schwimmbad Worb is an open-air bathing complex with good facilities for a family outing. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 45-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a 54-metre waterslide, 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre diving platforms, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. There is a kiosk, a restaurant and a barbeque area and other facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
