The Wine Museum illustrates, in its 17 rooms, the cultural dimension of the vine and wine. Tools, presses, casks, stills, soldering irons, barrels, measurements, bottles, stoppers, corkscrews, wine-tasters, glasses and carafes show visitors how the wine comes from the vine to the table. Traditional objects involved in wine making are shown, demonstrating every step of the process. Popular art, applied arts and the art school are also present at the Wine Museum. In addition to the engravings of artists of Vaud of the 20th century, presented in the room Bâtisseurs et Poètes, are the drawings of Daumier, which caricature Parisian drinkers.
