Conveniently located on the outskirts of Würenlos, about 6.5 km southeast of Baden, the Wiemel Lido, which was opened in 1972, offers open-air bathing with lifeguard supervision and beautiful gardens. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include ample grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant.
