Located on the outskirts of Köniz, some 5 km southwest of Berne, the Schwimmbad Weiermatt Köniz is an open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision which has every facility. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a splash pool, a diving pool with 5 platforms from 1 metre to 10 metres, and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a waterslide, pool accessories, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, boules, etc. Facilities include a kiosk, snack bar, restaurant, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
